Charles Nelson grew up in Richmond and established Stepping Stone Landscaping in 2017 based on his green thumb, entrepreneurial spirit, and love of meeting and working with new people.

He’s passionate about providing excellent customer service that makes people change the way they view their lawn care company – and – providing an excellent work environment that makes employees change the way they view their employer. Charles loves Richmond, history, getting his hands dirty, and educational podcasts (to name a few!). When he’s not at the shop or around town on estimates, he’ll take any extra second to spend time with his wife and three young children.
